Projects and Photos

My girlfriend Robin has a camel! This photo is of me (left), Kazzy when she was 16 days old, and Robin. Kazzy is really growing now. Robin and her family take Kazzy to rest homes and hospitals to cheer people up. It works! I embroidered the design I digitized of Santa being bucked off of a camel for Robin to wear during the Christmas season on her hospital visits.
You can see I made a huge error! I was half way through the embroidery when I realized I had forgotten to rotate the design.
I cut out the "offending" design and surrounding fabric from the shirt and interfaced the back of it. I then made a rectangular applique of Hawaiian fabric and finished by appliqueing the embroidered patch on top of that!

The fringed hula girl is from the Tropical Vacation collection.
I made these pillowcases with St.Patrick's Day designs I digitized. They were fun to do and could be made for any occasion!
Roz made this great plastic bag holder using the Housework Makes You Ugly! designs.
Joanie made this gift basket set at our embroidery club. She used the wine taster design from my Freebie page on the towel and the small grapes from Brother Card 2 for the soap and toilet paper.
I embroidered this sweatshirt with designs from my Hats! Hats! Hats! collection and designs I contributed to Ann The Gran's. I think of it as my shopping jacket!
Christmas cards using my Santa collection.

Back to Santa land!
